Grants Awarded

We are inspired by the efforts of the below grantees and are honored to support their projects that align with our mission.  We personally visit and/or volunteer with grantees whenever possible to make a good faith effort to ensure their programs are effectively helping others.  Below are organizations that have received a grant from the Foundation:

Among the largest anti-hunger organizations in the United States, the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina works every day to provide food to people in need while advancing long-term solutions to end hunger in our communities. Our donation helped to provide approximately 1,000 meals to people in need.

The YMCA of the Triangle uses Christian principles to nurture the potential of children through its many programs.  We donated to help fund its youth summer programs.

We donated to the American Red Cross to help relief efforts to those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services – from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping you be prepared to respond in emergencies.

We made a donation and volunteered our time to Saving Grace.  Saving Grace animal rescue saves, rehabilitates, and re-homes abandoned dogs in North Carolina that need help the most, while assisting members of the community to care for their dogs and keep them in their homes.

Youth On Course.jpg

Youth on Course is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young people with affordable access to golf. Its core charitable work is to break down the financial barrier to the sport by allowing members ages 6-18 to play rounds of golf at over 2,000 participating courses for $5 or less. We provided a grant to support this mission.

Airbnb.org is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people to emergency housing in times of crisis around the world. It leverages the Airbnb platform and the generosity of hosts to provide free or discounted temporary stays for individuals like disaster evacuees, relief workers, refugees, and asylum seekers. To support its efforts in the wake of the Central Texas floods, we provided a grant to help displaced families.
